Over the years, products which fall into the 1100, 1110, 1026/1140, 1120, 1190, 1170/1180, 1000/1011, 1160, 6000, 4200, 4300, 4400, and 5500 Series have been replaced by newer designs. The table below outlines which models are no longer in production. The growth of the electro-mechanical product line allows us to offer a wider range of testing solutions broadening our capabilities and diversifying our markets with newer models such as the 3300 and 5900 Series.
The 3300 Series of mechanical testing systems product line provides the simplicity, performance, and affordability needed for quality control and product testing. From routine, standardized QC tests to general purpose mechanical testing, the 3300 family is the affordable solution for the modern laboratory. Frames include the 3340 single column systems for tension and/or compression applications where tests are less than 5 kN; the 3360 dual column tabletop systems for tension and/or compression applications where tests are less than 50 kN; and the 3380 floor model systems for tension and/or compression applications for tests up 100 kN.
The 5900 Series mechanical testing systems are high performance mechanical testing instruments designed for tensile, compression bend, peel, shear, tear and cyclic testing. Frame types include the 5940 single column tabletop for low-force testing up to 2 kN; the 5960 dual column tabletop systems for mid-range testing up to 50kN; and the 5980 floor model systems for heavy- duty, robust testing up to 600kN.
